I finally find out a new motherboard to replace the one in the server. As soon as it arrives I’ll replace it.
Unlike the current one, this one runs with DDR3 memory and SATA 3. CPU will remain the same Core2Duo E8400. But now with faster memory and faster access to HDD (that I might replace for a SSD, if money allow me).
This means faster update time and probably faster loading of pages. Now it’s taking from 15 to 20 minutes depending on web traffic. Also I’ll put a 2TB HDD for backups.
My friend (from the office server is now) also gave me a bigger case for it. Now it’ll get cooler (currently running on 60 to 90°C) and probably even faster.
Keep you posted.
